If you are interested in this new release, you have some choices to consider.
First, you will want to consider whether you want the spoken text with or without music.
1. With Music: Most find that the music adds flavor and feeling to the stories, as if you were listening to a movie with background music. Today’s students, who commonly multi-task all kinds of media, will likely enjoy the music. I suggest you listen to the samples.
2. Without Music: There are some students who will find it much easier to focus on the stories without music. It is an issue of learning style as well as preference. Have your student listen to the samples. If you choose not to add music, than you have no other choices to make! The non-music version is only available as an MP3 download. You can proceed to check out.
If you are interested in lesson tracks with a musical background, you have a second choice to make. You will want to contemplate the purchase of a hard copy set of 10 CDs or downloadable MP3s. There are advantages to both:
- A hard copy set of CDs is very easy for any age to handle and load in a CD player, be it in the car, in a classroom, or at a nightstand. For the less computer savvy, they come “ready to play” without the need to download. (Opened CD sets are non-refundable.)
- Downloadable MP3s are priced a little less and can be purchased by the Quarter to spread out the cost of your investment. Students and teachers familiar with downloads with find them an easy way to take history on the road through a personal MP3 player or through a family computer. No shipping, or shipping costs, are needed to receive this product! They are a great choice for International customers. For your convenience, you can print a free “Table of Contents and Listening Guide” from the shopping page to help navigate you through the files. The Guide provides a column for checking off the tracks you have listened to. (Upon purchase, you will receive email instructions indicating terms and how to access your files.)
