This is a very useful resource when working with more than one student. Though copyright allows families and co-ops to photocopy pages for their own use, the task can be difficult without taking the book binding apart. This product makes duplication much easier to do and helps you to preserve your textbook for years to come.

What are Challenge Cards?
Challenge Cards are a tool that take advantage of children’s amazing ability to memorize large quantities of information!
Each lesson has three questions that give the highlights of “who, what, where, when, and how.” These questions, when memorized over the course of a school year, give a framework and chronology of history that will eventually work into their long-term memory. It is highly recommended that you review them regularly as you move through the study of history.
The answer to each question is (usually) a complete sentence. For example, “Who was Otto I?” is answered as “Otto I (sometimes called “Otto the Great”) became king of Germany in 936 and expanded his empire through war and marriage” rather than just “He was king of Germany in 936.” This enables the students to have context for the information.
